A client of CyberCube needed a way for translating their granular, single-risk metrics into clear, strategic portfolio insights. They struggled to accurately understand and compare their portfolios.
Confusing information about risks in treaty comparisons delayed decision-making. Their underwriters also used spreadsheets and different tools, causing mistakes and postponed mid-year reviews and changes to the portfolio.
My Role
As the lead product designer, I took on the important role of overseeing the entire UX/UI strategy for this complex project, which lasted four months, carefully guiding it from the initial idea to the final design phase.
This process involved working together in workshops, creating interactive designs, and providing detailed specifications to ensure a smooth user experience and high design quality.
My Process
Align and define: Set goals and success metrics, wrote the problem statement, mapped must haves vs nice to haves.
Next, we turned our ideas into simple sketches and prototypes, sharing these early versions with real users for quick feedback. This helped us ensure the design worked well with complex data. We improved our ideas based on user input until we identified the key features for our MVP, allowing us to create a product that truly served our users.
